Making Bread at Park51
The Bread Houses Network comes to Park51 to share their wonderful way of bringing people together: Nadezhda Savova discovered that the very simple, elemental act of making bread can create a community. She established The Bread Houses movement, a global initiative aiming to connect people from all walks of life around the making of the bread.
It is a world-wide movement connecting people who come together in various settings to share bread and arts. Bread Houses believes that we are all connected, literally and figuratively, by the making of the bread, and that ultimately we are all crumbs of the same loaf.
We invite you to come make bread with Nadezhda at Park51 on October 23rd at 1pm! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Bring your family and friends and let’s make a community!
