Park51 would like to thank you for being with us on our journey and for your generosity and support. As you know, a significant amount of money is needed in order to fulfill our responsibilities as an iconic community center. Park51 Monthly Donation Form

Park51 is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Park51 filed an application for tax-exemption with the Internal Revenue Service on November 30, 2010. If granted, Park51′s tax-exempt status is expected to be retroactive to August 23, 2010, the date of Park51′s incorporation. Park51 anticipates that the IRS will recognize that Park51 is an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. However, if tax exemption is not granted, Park51 will notify its contributors of this determination and that they are not entitled to a tax deduction for their contributions.

Under New York law, Park51 is required to file an annual financial report with the New York Attorney General. Park51′s first fiscal year does not end until December 31, 2010, and therefore no annual report has yet been filed. Following the first annual report and subsequent annual reports, they will be obtainable upon request, in accordance with New York law, by writing to our address above, or to the Office of the Attorney General, Charities Bureau, 120 Broadway, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10271.
